Rolf Method of Structural Integration

Structural Integration (S.I.) is a manual therapy process that re-educates the body by aligning the human structure with the earth’s gravitational field.

S.I. establishes balance in the functional relationships between all of the body’s parts, as a whole system, around a central vertical axis (plumb line), so that our entire being as a whole can experience more freedom, equilibrium and resiliency.

In this way, individual symptoms (from accidents, illness, stress and injuries) are often relieved. In the larger sense, SI is interested in exploring and evolving human potential.

ScarWork

ScarWork was created by Sharon Wheeler, who trained with Dr. Ida Rolf (the founder of Structural Integration) in 1970.

This innovative approach addresses adhesions by gently integrating scar tissue back into the surrounding fascial web.

Sharon is the co-author of Scars, Adhesions and the Biotensegral Body – Science, Assessment and Treatment.

BoneWork

BoneWork was created by Sharon Wheeler, who trained with Dr. Ida Rolf (the founder of Structural Integration) in 1970.

This method address volume, shape and contour of the connective tissue bone matrix “scarring” from accidents and injuries.

With this approach, it is possible to remediate damaged bone tissue.

Craniosacral Therapy

In clinical terms, Craniosacral Therapy (CST) is a gentle manual approach that can improve the state of our central nervous system in a way that enhances our capacity for health.

The therapeutic aim is to facilitate balanced motion within the structures, thereby increasing the function of this system.

Stillness Touch

Stillness Touch is a biodynamic approach to health - one that allows the inherent forces within to direct the healing.

These are the biological forces that held the power to create us. These same forces still hold the intelligence to maintain our health. They also have the ability to strengthen our will, and they retain the capacity to evolve our consciousness.

These sessions support us in our personal evolution. This is very individual and may include our health, but also may include our connection and direction in life.
